Yep, he was wrong about the seasonal aspect. But number of cases does not equal deaths. The virus is already getting midler, because it's not in its interest to kill of its host.

Remember, that from the very beginning, scientists said this virus would stay with us. It was never about erradicating it, we only tried to flatten the curve to relieve health care systems.

Numbers were always going to go up again as soon as some of the restrictions were relaxed.

But again, local data, local solutions. We cannot shut down the entire world over this. The long-term effects of the lockdowns are simply too negative.
